What I Do

Graphic Design

I design marketing/branding collateral, print-on-demand graphics, eBook covers, and more. My designs are created from scratch; I have about 15,000 photos that I took all across the U.S.A., that I use for some projects, and sometimes I use purchased or royalty-free photographs--especially for book covers.

Artisan and Bridge Jewelry

I design and create one-of-a-kind jewelry using sterling silver, copper, and stainless steel, along with a variety of semi-precious stones, all kinds of beads, hand-molded clay, bits of hardware, and fabric. I use bead weaving, wire wrapping, and needlework techniques. Most of the pieces I design are vintage or Boho style. I accept custom jewelry orders as well.

Wearable Art and Fashion Accessories

I design and sew skirts, tops, purses, and more. Along the way, I embellish these with patchwork, applique, embroidery, and beadwork to create one-of-a-kind pieces. I also embellish readymade T-shirts, jeans, caps, and anything else that lends itself to decoration. My goal is to design and create unique wearable art. I take custom orders for these items as well.

About Me

DESIGN! I have always loved designing and making all kinds of things! I learned how to sew doll clothes and embroider when I was 7, and by the time I was 10, I was making my own clothes.

My high school art teacher said my projects didn’t look right (not like everyone else’s), so I turned to drafting, where I excelled! I went on to get a 2-year degree in fine arts, and another 2-year degree in drafting and design technology. I also took woodworking classes, where I designed and built several items that I still use today.

Over the years, I spent my free time making lots of things, mostly with beads or fabric or wood. I’ve always loved designing, and creating things gives me such a sense of accomplishment! I taught myself graphic design, photography, bead weaving and wirework jewelry, tole painting, and carving, to name a few hobbies.

For 45 years I worked for others, and in my spare time, I sold those handcrafted items for extra income. It’s time for my creative skills to become my full-time work, so now I create graphic art, and I design and create jewelry, wearable art, and fashion accessories.
